PPFM Double Waist Jeans (2006)

PPFM is a Japanese fashion brand born in the late 1980s and closely tied to Tokyo’s experimental streetwear scene. Known for multi layered constructions, unusual pattern work and aggressive hardware use, the brand turned denim into sculptural garments until production ceased in 2014.

This archival 2006 piece features PPFM’s signature double waist construction: two overlapping waistbands, double button fastening and layered pocket layouts. The denim comes in a washed blue tone with pronounced distressing, frayed areas, stacked seams and large side zippers revealing floral printed pocket bags
